Frequently Asked Questions
about ImageForge
Q: I see that ImageForge now comes in 4 different configurations. What is the difference between ImageForge editions?
- The different editions are available for different needs. Users who only need to do occassional pixel-level editing or simple image manipulation will probably be happy with the Basic edition. ImageForge PRO is perfect for those who want to do more serious work with images. ImageForge GOLD is the ultimate image editor for professional as well as novice users And ImageForge Master Edition contains tools which would make it a better solution for webmasters and others who have heavy-duty processing needs.
- The Basic edition is a simple paint program with added features such as the ability to create .exe albums and slideshows and enhanced tools.
- If you want to do more than basic work with graphics, the ImageForge PRO edition has a much more extensive set of tools and editing features. It includes support for devices such as pressure-sensitive tablets, has many more image filtering options to allow you to add special Effects to your images (including support for plugin and custom filters), includes options for splitting images or creating clickable image maps and thumbnails for web sites, allows you to seamlessly merge images, and much more. An absolute bargain at under $30.
- If you want to do more than the PRO version, then ImageForge GOLD is for you. The GOLD edition has a much more extensive set of tools and editing features. It includes support for image layers, has many more shadow and Tool options to allow you to add special Effects to your images, and at a very reasonable bargain price of under $40.
- ImageForge Master Edition bundles together yet more tools for professionals. Included are ImageForge GOLD for editing images; IconForge for creating and editing desktop, program and web site icons and cursors; and the Master Tools module for converting and filtering masses of image files, generating desktop links, creating banners and buttons (with no drawing required), extracting and previewing image lists from HTML documents, and more.
