Q: It is kind of difficult to describe, but is there any way make a photo look as if it were made up of other objects? I want to make my cat look like it is composed of little birds.

• You can do this by clicking on the Effects menu, then choosing the Special filters:
  1. Click on the Pixelize functions;
  2. Select the Use Clipart to Represent Pixelization option;
  3. Click on the image (head) icon to select a clipart file containing a series of images (in your example, you would use small images of birds);
  4. Adjust the graininess and Intensity sliders and Apply.
      
  Results will depend on your original image, and the clipart used. You can achieve some very interesting effects with certain images.
